In the process of fitting a x16xe into a corsa b sxi. Im using the original sxi loom, ive traced all the ecu feeds and pulled them inside the car. The x16xe loom has all the required feeds connected on the 9pin plug. (and sxi fuel pump relay in the glove box linked out, so only the 16xe one is doing the work)
Ive fitted the x16xe transponder pickup ring on the barrel, and the chip into the key, and pluged it into the old transponders plug.
When turning the ignition on the engine management light flashes? Is there anything else i need to connect (the x16 loom has a square plug with 3 wires on it which isnt connected to anything at the mo)
Havent had much dealings with these engines for a few years, so wondering if anybody has come up with a way of by-passing the imobiliser?

It will be the immobiliser thats doing it, my jeep does it when it imobilses its self. Does it turn over? They usually turn over but no fuel cause it imobilises the fuel, if ur stuck i have some 1.6 wiring diagrams for there engine managment system

had similar problem on my old sport, someone had taped a chip to the barrel
if that doesnt work then try another ecu/tansponder/chip as it doesnt sound like there matched
