I'm talking about including breaks, what do you do on average. I currently do 9 - 6 so it's 9 for me.

If I'm in the office 0830-1700 is our working hours but I rarely leave before 1800. If I'm away on sea trials, I can be anywhere upto 18/19hour days

Time you're in the office. If it was for actual work, I would started it at a lower number.

Start at 6 and finish when I finish, could be 11 could be 5 just depends how quick I drive I suppose. Get paid 9 regardless though unless I do over 9 obviously.

Scheduled hours 2300 - 0630. Get straight to site mostly to start at 1, finish at 4-5 latest. I put 5 hours down as if I have to go into depot I have to be there a bit longer. Can only actually 'work' between 1 - 5 depending on what station I am working at due to train running times. I love my job.

Contracted 8:30am to 5pm Mon-Fri
I'm in at 8 most days and normally leave the back of 5. I don't take any breaks at all though apart from lunch which I used to eat at my desk but now have 15 minutes away from it as it was pissing me off. Don't drink tea or coffee and don't smoke.

If you smoked you'd get breaks for 10 minutes every hour.

Get paid for work 7.5 hrs a day but that equates to 8.5 with 1 hr lunch or 37.5hrs/week - but tend to put in over 50 hrs a week depending on what we have on
If I am travelling it tends to be even more if you include travel time

6-2 officially. But generally done by 1, so 7 hours most days. Will probably work over tomorrow though, but usually I'll work less than I'm paid for
