You can get pd's to over 300 horse! You need a massive blower updated head bolts, naughty cam loads of headwork, meth etc etc....

Solid motors get an evolution chips map170 horse and 310 ftlb torque.

Will need a hybrid pd150 turbo to cope with 210 bhp and a fair bit of expense.
Im running 172bhp and 266 lbft torque with bolt on mods and a generic revo stage 2 map. Its more about the power delivery though and not peak figures.
Bora is basically a mk4 golf saloon really

Probably due to the fact its just a generic map, however £50 was much better than £400 when its being sold within the year.
Tbh it doesnt seem a high figure but its a good curve so im not fussed, plus its less strain on the dmf which are a weak point on standard engines, never mind one running higher torque.
I was concerned initially till a few folk on ibiza forums with tdi experience said the graph looked spot on

130's are meant to be the ones to go for. 150's can have cam problems.

My old PD130 is running 163bhp and 271lb/ft and it's a pocket rocket. Been mapped since pretty much new and is on 72k still on the standard clutch with no issues. Thats a customcode stage 1 map

They all have cam issues but the 150's are twice as bad! Not many people will hybrid a 150 turbo either as they become far too in reliable.

I thought thats the turbo most go for as an upgrade? What becomes unreliable about them, heard problems with pd130 turbos going but never saw much about hybrid pd150s giving problems
