Seems the want to keep the chimneys too and redevelop rather than knock it down.
Would be ace if it looked something like:

^ Not a lot wrong with it when i want, some proper shit old stadiums in the UK now though.
Looks like it could be very different if it goes ahead, no sure how they'll find 60,000 fans to fill it at their ticket prices though.

Nothing wrong with their ground TBH.
Old grounds are best for atmosphere.
Hate the new bowl stadiums

I honestly thought it was a decent stadium when I went, just no atmosphere.

No atmosphere at all.
Chelsea fans were terrible when Leicester played them

too dated, doesnt hold enough, just compare it to the likes of the bernabeu or nou camp or even uk clubs, OT, emirates, even Anfield has a bigger capacity, its not good enough for a club playing in the top tier of europe

Liverpool only has 3k more capacity..
I know what you mean though, but the old dated grounds are the best IMO

Spot the fucking idiot that doesn't go to football grounds
The Camp Nou is a special place when you're inside but it is a fucking dump.

There were old washing machines and scooters dumped in the grounds when I was there and no one seemed to particularly GAF
Even inside when it's empty, the seats are all faded (naturally with the sun) and it's generally just not a nice stadium.

I don't think football stadiums should be glamerous...
Everyone is going all americanised with these "superbowls"..
Bring back the days of proper football and proper stadiums with real atmospheres.
Proper stadium ^

Was good atmosphere at the walkers stadium when i went, and thats fairly new.. whats it called now?
Anfield is a bit of a state nowadays, doesn't matter though, still love going. Wouldn't feel right if we moved, even though would be nice to.

technically chelsea is more fulham fc than fulham is
Stamford Bridge is a terrible stadium, just walk around the outside to see how higgeldy piggeldy it is! nightmare to get of, nightmare to get into the tube from, nightmare to do any work on it, nightmare all round basically! only plus pioint is the stands go so close to the pitch but the layout (ie where one stand runs into the next with a big wall alongside it etc) is terrible.
bernabeu was the same as camp nou by the sounds of things, hideous, a dump, crumblign and with crap everywhere but the character and atmosphere inside was out of this world

King Power stadium mate.
Since Leiceser moved from Filbert Street to the Walkers Stadium we have gone downhill. The atmosphere that used to buzz is gone. We've moved from a intimidating fortress to a souless bowl. I don't care what people say but atmosphere does have an effect on the players.
We now play music when we score a goal FFS.
Football will NEVER be how it use to be

fantastic idea btw, Nine Elms is the next big regeneration project in London, as soon as the future of BSP is sorted the work will begin... 2 new tube stations, dozens of offices and new homes, parkland (+ right across the bridge from chelsea so actually closere than they are now) as well as Battersea Park. New US embassy is being bult there which has led to all this growth
