Well I posted some pics in general chat the other day, but wanted a thread to keep all the plans and progress in.

So, it's a 2002 (52 reg) BMW 330ci Clubsport Coupe. 100k on the clock, 3 litre straight 6, sounds awesome! 5 speed gearbox, wanted the 6 but they are on the facelift ones i'm told and I prefer the look of the preface. It's got aftermarket wheels, 19x8.5 fronts and 19x9.5 rears.. stance looks cool as but haven't decided if i think they are actually too big. Budget coilovers off ebay, rides really well to say they are budget ones.

Bad points....... There are a few;

Sunroof doesn't work. Previously owner unplugged the switch and said that the rail on one side isn't on properly. Untill I check the mechanism I'll leave it unplugged.

Rear O/S quarter window doesn't work. Again something behind the door card isn't on properly i imagine..... that or need a motor/regulator :/

Front O/S wing has started to rust, read up that it always comes back once it starts so just gonna get a new one on there.

Stitching on the top of the outer bolster on both seats has come undone a bit. Gonna get it repaired before it gets too bad!

Radio doesn't tune into any radio station but the CD and tape deck work perfect. Apparently it's just the aerial not connected properly at the back of the head unit.

Engine light........... Half way home from collecting the car, light comes on. Drove perfect still so carried on. I know the previous owner had a problem with the lambda sensor throwing up a code quite regularly. Asked him about it and he said it's been changed. Got my mate to plug his code reader in and it came up with 3 stored codes, cleared them and drove around. Couple hours later light is on again. Code read again and comes up with Bank A running a little lean and 2nd Lambda sensor slightly low voltage. Cleared the codes and continued driving around... Sure enough light comes back. After a day or two, come to go out and the light is no more.. Cleared itself maybe??? :S

Then there's just marks here and that you'd expect from a 10 year old car... Still gonna try to get them sorted and make it mint.

Plans are;

Sort the mentioned faults
A bit more noise as miss the Corsa's engine noise. Not gonna go mad but just a bit louder than standard will do me.
Black kidney grills and 330ci badge
Change the engine, gearbox and diff oils
Maybe some smoked depo front indicators
Facelift rear LED lights
Then make it really clean and enjoy it

Thanks for reading, comments welcome

I've been thinking about M3 CSL wheels anyway, which will have the centres... Maybe when the tyres on these need changing. But thanks dude!

You wont be able to get the genuine CSLs to fit with these arches, the reps are decent enough though and a hell of a lot cheaper

Absolutely love the look of this car and im not sure why, seems to look better than most clubsports. Im liking the half leather interior aswell!

The wheels are 3sdm 0.01's mate, I had a gruppe m filter on mine, wasn't great tbh - the straight six makes a good induction noise anyway!

Couple of things from mine when I had it, keep on eye on the coolant levels as the expansion tanks are gash and watch out for rust mine was a nightmare in the end!!

I had staggered BBS LM's on mine and the suit the shape of the car spot on.

Enjoy!!

The CSLs are 19" and like 9.5" wide. Without arch work they wont be going on, or if they do you wont be able to lower it one bit so they'll look huge and ruin the look of the car. Most people go for the 18" staggered reps and they look great but tbh i would leave yours as it is.
