I'm not taking about caps or crowns, I mean an actual replacement tooth which I understand is drilled into/attached to your jaw.
I have a tooth which I've had trouble with for years, and I think I might lose it. I don't want to be missing a tooth, neither do I want him to continue patching it up. I realise that there will be quite a hefty charge, but I'd like to know more from anyone who might have one.

I am in the same boat mate. Read somewhere that it costs about £800 per tooth. Look on the Internet for dentists that do free consultations and get yourself a price.

go to doctors, say that its depressing you and you have thought about taking your life because you are so unhappy with your appearance, get it paid for on nhs

i've got my 2 front teeth on a pallette due to a motorcycle accident where i smashed my face to bits, dentist told me i could have had some permanant screw in ones but decided to keep the pallette instead
