My dad wants to get a new car so he was considering rejigging the current cars in the household and has offered me this

my swift give it to my mum, he gets a new car of some form, and gives me his audi a4 tdi 130 or 140 cant remember what

his is older 07 as opposed to 09, and got a few more miles, about 50k as opposed to 30k, however it will be cheaper to run, tax etc and is quicker and nicer to drive.

its not as good condition either as hes a bit shit driving and scuffed the bumper on the corner

something is telling me to go for it, but then something isnt really turning me on with the whole deal

Audi will tow the Puma, right?

Used the money saved to do your trailer licence.

Or run two silver hatchbacks which overlap.

Could you not give it a week or two try to see if you like it or not?

I personally would go for it, but i would never of bought the swift in the first place only you know which you want really.

does your mum take over payments for the swift?
theres a reason you bought the swift, if it was running costs then the cheaper car to run (a4) is a no branier. if youve got the swift because you like it, and you still like it more than the A4 then keep the swift.

id go for the A4

Just realised that's a can of worms right there.

I'd take whatever is best for what you're doing.

No brainer for me although i would rather drive a 10 year old a4 than an 09 swift.

pd140 is a hellish engine.

Bad for turbo's going, heads cracking, power steering stopping, hunting on idle.

I wouldn't have another audi after the last one unfortunately.

Is the A4 the avant??? I'd have the Audi. Martin had the 140 one and he never had any bother with it. His is nice as well, lowered on coilovers with Bentley wheels.

My Dad had a PD140 Jetta and had not a single problem, more internet.

A4 probably quicker than your puma as well.

towing is a good shout tbh

doesnt look like its going to happen anyway until the sale of my late grandads house so could be one month or 6 or more! so no need for people to get excited and waving there arms about just yet
