Hi lads,
Basically I thought the starting motor on my redtop was buggered so I replaced it with another second hand item (maybe no good either?)
As it still isn't turning over! U can hear what I think is the starting motor engaging when turning the key but nothing else.. Not even a cough or splutter!!
Thought mayb battery is completely knackered so tried another off of the misses sport n still doing the same!!
Thought I'd ask some advice incase it maybe some underlying issue?
When it happened.. The night before it ran like a dream.. Was driven for about 2 hours with no problems!
The evening after was wen I next started it up n this problem happened! The starter was a bit iffy for a bit before.. Ie it took a bit to get the engine going as any old starter would.
If anyone could shed some light I woukd much appreciate it!

get some one to hit the starter while your cranking the key

Yea my mate who's a mechanics suggested that lol. Cheers tho mate.. When I got a bit of time I'll get the front on axle stands n give that a go!
