hello
i need to use an example of a company within the UK who export products within the EU ? but i cant think of any ? ive used aston martin in a previous piece of work so don't want to use that again , i also want to use a well known company so the lecturer knows what im on about
i know that they're obvious ones but its hard to know what companies still operate within the UK?
if anyone can give examples than please do
but i cant be bothered with people commenting saying i shouldn't be at uni if i can't do my work lol

Any other car manufacturer with plants in the UK? Or do they need to be entirely British?
Fuel from the North Sea?
JCB is British and manufactures in the UK although it also has factories overseas.
BAE? Michelin has facilities in the UK.
If you want something topical, food and drink and pharmaceuticals were growth sectors for 2011.

cheers for your help , i basicly have to use an example of a company which export to a different country so i can demonstrate the currency risk if the exhange rate changes after their prices have been listed

Of the examples above you really want to chose one that's British rather than foreign manufacturing in Britain as their currency hedging will remove some of the pricing risk.

What degree are you doing?
Look up FX exposure hedging, that's what most international companies will do.

Brand Rex ltd. Cable manufacturing company. The exchange rate affected us heavily when the pound was really weak against the Euro when making a lot of a product for a French company. It was one of the reasons for making a good profit that year!
