So basically me and the missus have been together for 2 1/2 years next month... longest relationship for both of us. We've been finding the sex has really died down! Whenever something starts, we usually get distracted and end up just watching TV or something lol.
We've both got 'issues' in the relationship but we don't argue that much, we're very happy together... we don't live together or have kids etc.
Is it just something that happens!? I did read somewhere that you have more sex in the first few years of a relationship than you do for the entire rest of it.

I've been with my girlfriend for over 5 years. I want it more than her but I'm still satisfied. Don't have sex as much as when we did in our first year together but that's just something that happens. If a couple are more than happy with their relationship in general it makes the relationship less reliant on a good sex life...although a good one does remain important in my opinion.

Completely normal I'm afraid Kz, however there are things you can do, remember the result of sex needs a few bits of ground work. Do your homework and think of what used to make you guys tick, what sparked fun and excitement.
Do you have 'date' nights?

First long term relationship, I was with her for almost 5 years, lost virginity to each other etc etc. it was good and fun/adventurous for the first 3 years and then we didn't sleep together at all for the last 2 years when I went off to uni-no slap, tickle or anything.
Last relationship was always good although the frequency dropped off towards the last 12 months out of 6 years.
