The wife and I are in London and on the way down I noticed after a while traffic cameras on the back of those big signs. I went through one at 65ish and it was flashing 60. Are these active???

They ate putting these between forth bridge and Newbridge roundabout aswell. One lane can be 60 and the others different limits.

All ive noticed are the average cams between the forth bridge and newbridge, and theres a 40 sign that flashes just before the dunfermline turn off (the one after the inverkeithing turn off)

Yeah last few days have been roasting! Being cooped up in an office looking out of the window is not cool!

Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip

Didnt see any lane specific signs today. Only 40 where the workers are and the usual afterwards.

Aye its the big grey things that go across both lanes, they will have a sign on each lane and probably a camera behind the sign so it catches you after you pass rather than before with most. Not all of them have cameras though, just your luck really.

Well I got back home last night about half 9 and its was a superb drive. Came back up the M1 then cut across at scotch corner. Much better road and clear all the way.

One thing I will say tho is even tho I really like going to London for a few days a year its a seriously dusty place. My car was totaly covered in the stuff and I coughed a lot the wife couldn't stop sneezing either

All in all a very good trip

You can tell quite easily if they have a camera or not as you can see through the sign if there isnt one. Also glance across at the other side, usually if you can see the cameras on their gantries, they'll be one on your side too.

I can see a lot of drivers being caught by these once they are up and running. I didnt even know, i just thought they were going to be speed signs.
