Only got warm beers?

Then get some ice cubes from the freezer, put them in a bowl big enough to hold the can, then add loads of salt. The salt will help supercool the water ( I tested mine at -5c) put can in and wait 5 mins.

Rinse can under tap to get rid of salty water and pour.

In 5 mins, I had a beer from outside that was 19c down to 6c

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

Would be interesting to see a comparison to just putting the can in the freezer full stop

They did it on mythbusters, salt and water was the most viable way of chilling quickly.

Lowers the freezing point of the water, so it doesn't turn to ice, just stays really cold water. IIRC

Place beer in freezer, press power freeze. Remove and drink.

my tip of the day - buy another crate of freezing cold beer from the shop while the others are in the fridge
