had a choice of 2 on friday night and now thats............. 0

went to view 1 yesterday it was a nice car had a few small things i needed to think about, phoned back up today for another viewing and its been sold subject to the finance going through if not hes going to phone me tommorow

Took me about 7 months to find my Megane, I was picky and feel it paid off.

Auto trader and gumtree seemed best.

Yeah I'm after a s line

About 6k or just over, needs to be 140 bhp and not have too many miles

Same as all the other problems for the other discounted models are only on the internet, they were taken as gospel though.

Porous heads were most likely on the A series heads, a few went on the B series, and not many on the C's.

Checked by taking engine cover off.

Pretty sure mine is an A as it's an early one, done 132k and seems fine atm.

K-seal is rumoured to solve the problem cheaply by many people on the forums.

6k is around the cheaper end of the Tdi s-lines especially if you don't want high mileage so they don't hang about for long.

IMO drop your expectations for an S-LINE for an SE with lower milage. Dad's still had all the toys, Climate Control, Good stereo, electric everything, auto lights/wipers

It's the s line alloys and interior I'm more bothered about, there are a few around but not loads

my brothers old one he sold a month ago

nothing went wrong with it really. just the egr cooler started leaking which is a common problem apparently
