After having my Octavia vRS for 3 years it was time for a change i wanted something a bit more track focused and this R26 came up at a stonking price so i couldn't say no.

Liquid Yellow R26 26k 57Plate Cat D for 5k
As its the R26 it comes with Recaros, LSD and Revised Suspension and wheels

Some pictures when i picked it up -

So all was good for the first week of ownership but it really need the pads and discs to be replaced so i bought a set of DS2500 and new discs all the way round.

As i was going to using it as a track car i decided i would get some semi slicks so i purchased 4 AD08's and had them fitted, striped the rear, added a rear brace and harness. Had a cheeky map put on by RSTuning so is running around 265bhp. Then went to Germany

2 Renault's & 2 Honda's

Apart from the weather it was a good weekend.

So i return from the ring and the car was superb! Off it went for its service. Plugs, oil etc and bought a cheapo carbon bonnet that needs painting

Next up was Mallory at PPC had a great time did a few laps had some picture taken. So next up i booked a open pitlane at Bedford on the GT. Amazing day was getting quicker and quicker the fastest lap was a 2:57ish. Took a person out that owned an E46 M3 on 888's and he was astonished at the amount of grip the little megane had.

Unfortunately i got very bad pad deposits on the disc so these have been ordered -

Set of 330mm Floating 2 piece front discs + a set of CL6 Pads

Should be here next week but have Cadwell park on friday afternoon.

Going to be getting a cage spec'd this month also.
