was driving to work this morning when all of a sudden the car just lost power and came to a hault then stalled...wouldnt start again so i left it for a while started it then cut out again, topped it up with oil, ran for a while then cut out again, judders sopmetimes aswell when driving it any ideas what this could be!?

got EML light on? and what is it? 1.2 16v?

Assuming it's a 1.2 16v then the crank sensor is a possibility, they are known for it. If you've got a multimeter you can check it, otherwise they're about £35 from Vauxhall iirc.

How low on oil was it?
But I would also say crank postion sensor.
