Wishing i had never done this update now. First of all it no longer likes my Parrot/Alpine car kit it has become hugely temperamental in making calls out and can no longer Siri txt via voice dialling through my head unit.

Then i had began to notice WiFi seems to just drop or hang on 1bar, even though it never used to in areas of my home where i used to get full WiFi. It sometimes is fixable if you turn the phone off and on, or at least the wifi off and on. I was watching trailers on IMDB app the other day i watched 5 trailers 2 didn't work because the wifi just stopped. Turned phone off and on again and it worked fine. Also it seems to lose 3G signal more now but unsure if this is related. I googled WiFi and iOS5.1.1 and seems there are lots of similar issues, anyone else having this??

Past couple of days my wifi at home has been a bit weird and I had to physically turn my phone off and on again yesterday (although that didn't do much).

It also seems to get 'stuck' sometimes when you go to Settings > Wi-Fi when it tries to retrieve the list of networks.

Seems to be working OK today though, very odd.

Same here. Never had any issues with any updates.

My old 3gs used to drop wifi all the time but that was a router issue not liking the phone for some reason as it was fine anywhere else.

100% not a router issue, works fine with all other wifi devices and also previous to the update it worked fine with the phone.

Hoping this will be sorted soon or I want to go back to 5.1 but i bet thats a ballache

Try restoring it to the original and doing the update again. Mine is spot on so maybe something got fucked up in the process.
