all depends on which base model you start with.

Is it true the best model to use is the 1.0 or 1.2?

1.2 i think it is mate as u can map the standard ecu or something

This. SXi+ would be good for the half leather. Yet 1.8 SRi for the rear beam and looks.

1.2 u can map the standard ecu yea so in theory most folk do it to them

Doing it yourself saves you an cost for engine depends on what mods or whatever your after. I sell mt engine packages from £1000 upwards
