just having a browse as you do and came across it. Shame to see it needing so much work, after it never went with out when they owned it.

Might take a gander at that if 106 sells at weekend. Doesn't need much.

It still amazes me, these engines being at least 17 years old, yet they all seem to have less than 100k on them.

Its funny though, because you find original cars with the XE still fitted, and they have mega miles on them. With a very few exceptions though.

Doesn't seem like much work at all. Pretty cheap when you consider all of the modifications done. Seller seems like a tard though, openly admitting to insurance fraud in a public advert.

I'd avoid it like the plague now, my friend Jamie got it off rich h but sold it nearest a year ago. The guy that brought it from Jamie crashed it into a kerb and the car needed to be put on a jig I heard. Think the guy that's selling it now only paid about £400 for it. Shame really was a nice tidy car when phil/rich/Jamie had it.

I'd read what Chris has put first.

Explains why the tracking needs doing.

If its the same engine it has 10k more than the mileage on the clocks on it. I sold it on 140k so the engine will be on 170-175k now.

Shame its not the same as Pumas, the engine number is the last 7 digits of the chassis so you can get history on the car it came out of.

Loads for sale in Fiestas, 120k on the shell and half that on the engine until you get the MOT history and the Puma donor was in six figures nearly a year before it was scrapped.

Shame to see a cone filter on it after all the effort Rich went through to put a standard airbox on.
