Hi peeps, thought id start up a project thread about my car so here it goes.
Recently bought a Flame red corsa GSI with a c20xe in as my new car build.
This will be my basis to work with as im going for the clean oem look i thought id start with a genuine gsi, as they are getting quite rare now.
my plans are as follows.
Full respray in flame red, remove c20xe, replace with c20let and f28 but trying to maintain the oem theme, ie want stand colour rocker cover, going to try and get a airbox in rather than a induction kit, turbo tophat cover etc etc, you get the picture. Interior is mint and standard which it will be staying, no boost gauges etc just straight from the factory look but clean !
this is the car is question
http://www.corsasport.co.uk/board/viewthread.php?tid=636911
ill be posting up every week my progress on how its getting along
Bought the engine today, fully rebuilt with arp goodies and a rebuilt f28 with a quaife in and equal lengh shafts. Off to a good start !

Well yesterday was not a good day
took my corsa for a pre mot and the results were not good to say the least
chassis legs are rotton, innner and outer sill rotten
basically not a good basis for my clean oem car so it was back to the drawing board
found myself a red 1.0 envoy with 29k from new one lady owner so im going to strip the gsi and put kit engine etc etc into the envoy
wish me luck ! lol

after the dissapointment of my gsi shell being rotten i thought id get a low mlieage mint examble of a corsa b as a good steping block so i found one, lady owner from new with 29000 miles on genuine !
going to steam under the chassis later today and also under arches,
stripping the gsi too, its a shame but i wouldnt want to sell it on
pics of the new beast lol
Going to have the shell fully repainted along with the GSI kit, the interior from GSI will obviously be going in along with a nice clean c20let !

Shame that, but no one's ever going to know the difference so I suppose it doesn't really matter that GSi shell needs to be scrapped. Will be a cracking car once finished. Any ideas on what sort of power you want to reach once the LET is in?
