i heard alot of people talking about resetting their ecu's a month or 2 back, but im just wondering do these reset them selfs sometimes automaticly? because yesterday my alam kept going of for no reason and when i started the car up it sounded realy groggy, or is it just the battery goin flat?

well if the battery went totally flat then it will reset the ecu but if not then the alarms probably sounding cus the weak battery

My ECU is on a 98 sport and cant reset it!
Tried disconnecting the battery and taking it out of the car over night and turning the ignition on and off 30 times!
The above works on most Corsa's though.

i heard u can only reset the ecu by dissconnectin the battery on 8v engines, NOT 16V engines!

if im wrong plz say! id like to know how to reset my 1.4 16v ecu!!!
