Had this a couple of weeks now but not got any pictures so snapped a poor one today..

Its a 2002 Misano Red 225, will be back on the standard plate once the paperwork comes back.

Only mod so far is the Quattro Sport grille as the original one had been 'modified' with chrome strips and looked pretty awful

Got a set of H&R Coilovers for it which will be fitted in the next few weeks then the plan is just to give it a decent clean, came from right by the beach and sand is everywhere

Wheels need a refurb at some point but low on the list of priorities, been about 8 years since I had a set of non mint wheels and quite relaxed not giving a shit when parking

Off to GTI International tomorrow so might come home with some more bits.

Nice! Love red tts! I'd change the wheels instead of refurbing them tho. But that's only because every mk4 round here has them on!

at z4 comments. Ian wasn't too keen on roof down motoring iirc. i love it personally, but it's a very subjective thing.

love the tt. red is the best colour for these. grille looks great also. you getting a v6 valance on it?

oh and the 225 will be quite a bit quicker than the 2.5 z4. much quicker if it had a remap think i read 0-60 in 5.5.

Yeah, enjoy driving my dads 330ci with the roof down but wasn't a fan of it in the z4, would love a coupe but far to pricey for me.

Looking at getting a v6 valance at some point, only cheap too which is nice

nah in standard form they do about 6.2 secs 0-60, lovely cars but pretty bland and rolly to drive in standard form. quattro will kill him imo

Nice

I'd give the underside a good clean if it's been by the beach, get rid of all the sand/salt.

Drive nothing like a MK4 Golf neither are the interiors remotely the same!

TT's are great cars, misano red is a nice colour too. Get the QS valance to match the grille, not much more than V6.

Looking at them again myself, fancying a V6!

Yeah, it's really nothing like a Golf and quite different to my S3 tbh.

Was hoping to find a rear valance at GTI International today but the trade stands where shocking

It's definitely a car that is better than its reputation would have you believe.
