You have the opportunity to own and run a small business of some sort. It employs no more than 4 people, including you, and it isn’t a case of building an empire. It earns you a tidy income, but not enough to consider building a CS style portfolio. What would your business be?
I'd like to run a model shop for RC cars. I'm totally bored of ICT tbh, and I’d love to run a model shop. It's a mine field of an industry, as you have to deal with n00bs quite a lot, who blame you for their stuff "not working as it should", but I’d love it.

I would like to buy out a small deserted town, and have activities that can be done over a couple of days at a time, which will include camping, map reading etc.
Activities will include so far;
Paintballing
Lazer quest
Zombie apocolypse
Basically two teams go head to head, with each team having a base.
Health and safety may be an issue, but if you want to climb 60ft trees and jump through real glass windows i will have a policy where i cannot be sued. If anyone dies, they die.

I would like to have something like "The Spray Shack" spraying up custom parts, something where you could be a little bit of a perfectionist along with being artistic.
If that would fail then I was set up a business selling spare parts for Corrados ! would be minted in a month.

Zombie apocolypse will work slightly different. There will be no bases, just running and hidding for 48 hours. If youre caught 20 mins into the game, youre out.

I've had a similar idea, indoor paint balling in an old building in Liverpool city centre. Perfect for stag do's who are staying central, and probably more fun than in a field.

Im thinking proper old streets, shops, woods with wildlife, abandoned cars, buses, lorries, school, houses etc.
Sleeping in an old kitchen base unit so you dont get caught. The people playing the zombies wont stop, theyll be on stimulants and energy drinks for 48 hours straight.

That zombie apocalypse idea is the tits, love it!
As mentioned though H&S would be a nightmare even with the disclaimers.
H&S ruins everything because idiots that woudl have been wiped up by natural selection anyway kill themselves.

Theres a company not far from here that do corporate team building days. They will, for a fee, carry out a full on kidnapping of your boss and leave clues for the team to get him back

Trying to finalise the zombie attires.
We can go for a 28 day/week/month style with ripped jeans, shirt with blood stains and full on make up,
Or we can have fully naked, covered in fake blood, full on make up with a neglected pubic region.

Did not want to go into full details but CDM co-ordinator was a big part of my last role so I am far from green on H&S and it will certainly be far from standard (by the sounds of scotts hardcore ideas ) and will have challenges.

Prob yes, but i know the guys running that event i posted above and apart from it being on a working army training facilty it wasnt so much trouble. They run around 6 of these stye events a year.
So yes, they will have had thier challenges but nothing that cant be overcome with some common sence and decent insurance
