As above, was quite tatty, but would make great project.
Is black, with brown bonnet!!! few small dents n scrathces, r 19 rims, big exhaust, think it has clifford alarm, red carpet, interior is abit ropey!!
Reckon i could get it for £350-400 squid, wot you reckon?

They are more trouble than they are worth unless you have large amounts of cash to throw at it constantly to keep it running.

Worth buying a tidy one if its been looked after BUT a dog could end up being an endless money pit. £350-400 to buy it but at least that again to get it running nicely and looking tidyish

Yeah you are right nik, thats why i am so unsure, been lookin at cleaner ones found a few on loot, one j reg with good miles and last owner 7 yrs, gonna ring tomaz, prob gone tho!

If your gonna do it then dont go the cheap option as it will cost more in the end, I understand the appeal with them though.
Go for a half decent one being sold by someone who looked after it, should be okish then.

Yeah, fully check it look for the usual signs when buying a turbo. The J plate sounds good though. I'd never buy a crapp one, very nearly bought myself an F reg Cossie cause it was going cheap BUT it would easily cost a small fortune to sort out so it's easier going for a clean one to start with

Yeah ageed nik, my best mate is a mechanic, so i well get him to have a good look. would rather get a clean one, its just cash is abit limited cos of my flat.

PMSL, i really dont wanna sell my car mate, but is the only option at the mo, as i only have 3 grand saved which just about covers costs, soliciters, surveyor stamp duty etc
need 6900 deposit!!
well get another nice motor soon tho, just need to get myself back on my feet

i missed out on a 91 with 69k mile the other month & it was spotless & he sold it for £450

Stamp duty is a piss take Vibs, cant really get much cheaper than that down here, unless you want to live in a shoe box!!
Yeah that is a 5%deposit, so still gotta pay a shite high indemnity fee

well aparrently its mechanicly sound, just bodywork a bit tatty, which i ca live with, as i can tidy that up and my mate can respray it! Also the same mate is a mechanic so he can check it over b4 i get it/fix it every week when it goes wrong if i do get it
