isn't it a case that once a set figure of petition signatories has been reached, it has to be discussed in Parliment

apparently so, but iv never heard of any ever being successfull usually get some bullshit email reply sent round

Tbh I think it's good as it is. The rules are simple then. But I may be biased as my viva which is a 1970 is tax free!

the biggest problem is that the government give with one hand and take back with the other!......

for instance they give pre 1960 vehicles MOT exemption.....

then bring a load of new laws in if you use your pre 1960 vehicle for weddings.......see here....

none of it affects me though as my 1949 Alvis is for personal use anyway.....tax and MOT exempt
