Been offered one cheap enough, pros and cons?

Obviously main con is its a girls car.

Loved my old 1 tbh. Rust starting on the back arches was the only thing letting it down.

Went very well, revvy, gear change feels awesome on them. Handle better than Saxo's too imo.

Rust on the arches, ABS sensors, early brakes are terrible.

Pros, I've got a vast array of spares.

Define cheap, over £500 is not cheap.

It's a 99 V so will that be early brakes? Plenty of spares

£450 with MOT untill next year, tax untill Sept with 80k

Not bad with MOT and a bit of tax.

That's early, yeah. Although late enough that it'll have a digital odo and therefore the engine will drop straight in a Fiesta meaning if it fails a MOT on corrosion you can still get £300 back.

Noob thread in http://www.pumapeople.com when you get it please

That's fine, it will be the same as Steve's and won't see track anyway.

You should buy it and drive it straight to a track. Don't even need to go on, and it will still have seen more track action this year than what Steve's has.

Last 3 cars have been a 182, and 2 well specced 106 GTi's. All far from boring

Well the 106 and 182 both did a full open pit lane on track. If I get the Pooma it will see a full 3 miles to work and 3 miles home. And odd weekend driving.
