I've had mine nearly a year now, not really had any issues with it. I use it for texts and internet, I don't care about apps and stuff, which with a Blackberry are very limited anyway. It does the 'being a phone' part very well, I love they keyboard, I'm typing pon it now as fast I can type on a computer 
Biggest let-down is the camera, 2mp I think and NO autofocus which makes anything close-up just impossible!
Battery life is ok, I can get almost 2 days out of it usually, never had it last less than a day even when hammering it with hours of youtube vids and stuff.
It's well built, I use mine at work and I'm a mechanic so it gets thrown about, never had any issues tho.
So it's far from the best phone out there, but the best thing that makes it stand out from the rest is the keyboard to me.
