Yeah man! All this blank green paper with stickers on seems a right waste of time now!

Nah, went with someone to get a car on the weekend and the MOT was white, and the owner was light brown Looked like he'd just printed it out in word.

Of course I did!

I think he was actually polish, but just slept on a sunbed for a few hours every night, whilst printing out fake MOT's from his gold ipad.

they're not 'certificates' anymore. it's basically just a receipt and the sheet no longer represents that the car is moted, you're supposed to check online for the mot now.

so basically you just get a crappy printed out sheet now for your money lol,.

so does this not lead to dodgy mot's then?

surely anyone could print them off!

how would it come online and show you actually have mot on the car?

You could get dodgy Mot's before anyway.

Best off checking using the V5 ref on the web. Although this doesn't mean to say a dodgy garage hasn't done it.
