Changed a few days back, looks more modern. But they've changed around Audio description and subtitles only a little thing but drives me crazy at the moment.

Got a loud 1 year old, so put subtitles on quite often and now its the second option on the menu instead of the first.

Looks good but its still behind the Tivo competition IMO. Still waiting for our box to get the update. Irony they push out the update just as they tell everyone they are putting up the prices.

They really need to get a move on with their on demand content which is fairly lacking.

Also getting iPlayer etc. Will be interesting to see if they support the HD iPlayer too.

Power the box off (also turn it off at the wall). Leave it for for 10 seconds or so, hold the "back up" button on the top of the box controls while turning the power back on, keep the "back up" button held till all the lights on the font start flashing. Should get a msg on the screen to say update in progress, mine took about 15 mins.

That only works if they've already approved the update for your box (or however they group it, i'm not quite sure).

I noticed it this morning. Prefer it to the older one. I've found it to be a bit faster too.

As John says - Unless your box is marked to be updated manually updating it won't help. If it is marked for update it will probably happen within 24h, typically overnight it up update

My understanding is any DRX890 or 895 will receive the update after running the manual update process, not avail for any other models yet I dont think.

Great - So they make it all nice and HD but reduce the functionality. GRRR

If you have the mini-tv disabled it used to fill the screen, now its just the same with the TV disabled which means there are less rows on the screen grrrrrr

Our 1TB box has it but the standard HD one doesn't yet. Presumably it will eventually roll out to all boxes? Much prefer the look of the new one Last time they updated it I think it was by box manufacturer.

Yeah, pretty sure its based upon manufacturer of the box (well it was before on the last boxes prior to the different boxes)

I think overall its a good improvement. Looks much nicer. Just a shame they have reduced the functionality in some areas.

This means you have to scroll through the pages now more. Before it was easier at a glance to see what was recorded (and get to my most recent recordings)

Don't think mines been updated, yet. But I don't have the HDMI HD plug in at the moment... (very odd HDMI error dictates either Sky or PS3 in HD at one time only.)
