This may not be everyones cup of tea but it suits me seeing as I do 40k+ a year.

Started off with an Auction punt 320d se which I robbed Robin for a few bits

Warren spent many hours replacing bits and generally freshening it up

Of course he then remapped it when I wasnt looking....no really

Next stop was Lemas for a tidy up and a few M Sport goodies. Tom did an amazing job and I am sorry its taken me this long to post them up. So the only part of the car not been painted was the doors

Then came along MV3s after the 10" wide rears cracked!

Unfortunately there were some niggly running problems so Warren bagged me some time at a BMW Rolling road day where a vacum leak was detected all codes and adaption values were reset. Nearly an hour was spent looking after the car and how rollings roads should be run IMO. Here were the results

The result was pretty good considering a BMW performance prepped LCI only made 200bhp with several mods.

Massive thanks to Warren and Tom who really worked hard on the car.

Looks immense on the comps. On the MV3's it just looks like a slightly higher spec rep mobile

Not a fan of the comps tbh.

MV3's massive improvement. Just need painting the right colour

Also 205bhp + 40mpg =

Looks really nice mate; the M sport kits really makes these look nice

How does it feel since the re-map; is it better on fuel and noticeable as most places claim?

Ive just bought a 120d M Sport and thinking of getting it mapped.

Genuine CSLs won't fit with fads suspension, they also catch on the rear arches as the offsets are poop.

How much work is involved in swapping the bumpers to m sport ones or is it just a straight swap?

Straight swap. Just need the lower grill and fog lights and fog light supports.

The first time I went on the rollers it made 178bhp which I was very disapointed about and the power and it fluctuated somewhat. Since spending some time on it it is like day and night it litterally spins up in 2nd now and when I had a play with my mates 330ci there was nothing in it.

The 163's are not as good as the 177 engine however since being mapped and the running issues sorted I get a solid 51-53 mpg on a run and 47mpg when doing a mix which includes driving around London quite a bit.

Be wary a lot of the companies offer maps but dont really spend the time checking the car over prior to doing it. Warrens map really is excellent and it you look at the graph it holds 300 lb/ft and tails off slowly. It actually feels more like a petrol now.
