Always come on cs and look at other peoples projects so thought I'd show you mine..
Iv been building it up since August last year iv got threads on mig and vauxsport for anyone interested in reading the whole lot but gonna break it right down and update on here from now on also.
Here's some pics of how it stands at the mo..
Quick spec..
Engine: completely standard complete engine, arp rod bolts, jenvey 45mm bodies, mbe 9a4 ecu, sbd engine loom, roose motorsport hoses, btb/sbd type c manifold, full longlife exhaust system in 2.5". 170 bhp 142 lb/ft....at the moment
Transmission: standard f20 atm but I have just bought an f16 box and quaife atb, got a sbd lightweight flywheel to go on as well as a helix paddle clutch.
Suspension/brakes: cheap fk coilovers atm but will be purchasing some nice new avo fully adjustables all round coilys in the next few weeks wilwood midilite 4 pots with drilled and grooved disks and green stuff pads. Harry Hockley pedal box with full braided lines.
fully adjustable lower arms / tie rod kit, same as bigron/nic Barnes etc
Interior: completely stripped, modified omp 6 point cage, flocked dash, suede omp wheel, omp 4 point harnesses, cobra Monaco pro buckets, carbon fibre door cards. Battery in boot.
Exterior: polycarbs windows, fibreglass bonnet and tailgate with aero catches. Had it repainted just recently also.
Wheels/tyres: compomotive mo5 wrapped in toyo t1r's soon to be replaced with 888's.
Prob forgotten loads but that's the main bits...
All comments welcome.

looks good mate
my only critism would over the location of the battery, its too far to the back of the car to have the weight really, and is probably having a negative effect on the weight at extremeties. A small critism but might be worth thinking about putting it behind the passengar seat

Only a litte update as have been mega busy with work and a fishing holiday etc but I have bought this..
It's an f16 box from a Daewoo nexia 1.5 16v it's closer ratiod than the f20 and has a longer final drive of 3.94 rather than the 3.55 in the f20 it's also been fitted with a quaife lsd!!
As you can see from the pic it's a bit grubby so gave it a going over with gunk foam and spray and a bit of elbow grease in an old shower tray I had taken out of a job the day before lol and voila...
Sexy clean
Also bought one of these..
Typically, I bought this before I collected the gearbox only to find one already attached to the linkage, luckily not money wasted as it was missing the little retainer clips so will just use the new shiny one
Looking forward to getting the box fitted but am going to get a new clutch and housing first and fit it all at once with the sbd flywheel iv had sitting in its box for a few months lol will prob get some arps for the flywheel as well so hopefully order clutch this week or next and get her ready for Coombe
Have also sourced some new knuckles and purchased big block flanges which are currently being machined to take the audi Quattro bearing, should get them back on thurs/fri this week so will update that then.

3.94 f/d will transform it matey.
We were running a 4.5 f/d in an old rally car and the acceleration was awesome, but not much top end lol
