Who here bothers with a safe at home to keep valuables in?

I prefer to hide them instead of having one place that is obvious like a safe.

I hide money in my dvds and books as no ones steals or looks through dvds these days.

Got loads of money at home.

Of course people still steal DVDs, they're piss easy to shift, regardless if you only get a quid for them.

Ive got a safe that's about 1.5m tall and had got four fixings in the floor and 6 in the wall, that's for guns though do keep all my car keys in there when I work away during the week. And occasionally cash but I'm a pauper compared to all the CS millionaires so have never had huge amounts in it.

My old man has a fire safe mounted in the loft somewhere, has important docs for the house, passports, birth certificates etc, otherwise only gets used when they go on holiday for some of my mums jewellery, car keys etc
