I thought you couldn't map the standard ecu?
Or are you changing that?

Also vernier pullies.
So it's not worth getting cams dialled in and mapped?
Surely that would sort my flat spots below 3k

Like Bigron said, wouldnt bother on standard ecu, go stand alone ecu for best results. flat spot could be due to cam timing and with a dial gauge and vernier pulleys you mite loose that. Ive got a pair of piper ones for £60 if you are after some? Flat spot could be the cam profile isnt best suited to the rest of your set up though. they QED cams?

Why would I want different pullies?
Mine are adjustable. The cams were chosen to suit clearances. Head has also been ported and polished too

Sorry, read it as you were thinking of getting veniers, try retiming your cams if you havent done so try using max lift at tdc not timing marks. whats the power band on your cams ment to be? have you had it on the rollers to see how it performs? fueling, afr, etc. I know im using the x20xev, but when i swapped from newman to kent cams i got 12bhp 5lbft gain and better power delivery. Even just dailing the cams static made big differance to power delivery.
