Hi there
I joined up on here a while back as I know Dan, danscorsasxi.
I'm on corsa c uk as Chris.T and spend a lot more time on there tbh but thought I'd put my car and it's progress up on here.
So I passed my test 4 years ago and a year later bought a 1 litre blue C which was nice for a while and I did a few mods to it but got bored and in may 2011 decided on a 1.8 SRi in silver with 40k on the clock.
Here's some pics of what I did and then how it looks now.
When I first got it.
I started by debadging the rear, a carbon covered hazard switch, painted calipers blue, deflectors, gm mats, white center console and flat blade wipers.
I bought a set of white team dynamics pro race 3's and had the arches and skirts colour coded.
At some point I went to exhausts uk and got an exhaust done, smaller centre box and twin pipes at the end.
A while passed and I got bored of the alloys and bought some pro race 1.2's and sold the 3's to a mate.
Yet again I got bored of the alloys and I bought a set of corsa d 17" sxi's from a mate and got dan to fit some 40mm springs I got for £20
The blue bumper was on because I was having a smooth rear one done.
Also had the lights smoked and did the little black bit at the bottom of the bumper.
Some with the smooth rear on, was proper filthy there tbh lol
Next up was a smooth front with irmy splitter, grill and Cupra splitter.
Sold the d sxi's, which I do regret a little bit but whatever, I put on some 17" pro race 1.2's which scrubbed like fcuk
So a few months ago I saw a guy on ccuk was splitting his car so went up to Manchester to buy his irmscher airdam
I also bought some Exclusiv alloys and returned them matte black and also bought an irmy heck spoiler, which I think is better looking than the SRi one. A trip to castleford and I came back with some 60mm spax springs which give it a nicer drop on the rear.
I got the rear bumper re painted and colour coded but when I was about to put it on the wind blew it over and now has a scuff on the arch so waiting to have it repaired by a mate, so that's why atm I have a black bumper on.
Recently put some OPC door badge on and got sick of the exclusivs as the offset on them is poo 49
So after a lot of searching I found some Speedline Turini's with good tyres from a Clio.
So this is how it looks today after a good wash and polish
So that's it up to now, I'm sure I've missed a few bits off but I'm always changing alloys and bumpers and other stuff haha so I can't remember everything lol.
Let me know what u think
Dan and Scott, your opinions don't count I know it's a shed haha

Yeah, as i said, they were probably the nicest wheels i've had tbh haha, don't really know why i sold them, just got bored i guess lol.
Turini's i've always liked they look even better here in person. Gonna refurb them cos they need it and get some proper centre caps aswell lol.

Started refurbing my alloys.
I'm not the best at prepping stuff like this, mostly cos of my impatience
But if I took a bit more time sanding ect... I'm sure they'd be a little better. The first one has come out decent, apart from a fly landing in the lacquer
So gotta wait till it drys so I can get it out.
Surprised at the spray lacquer though, it's done a decent job.
