Think they reduce noise with the window open on the motorway, plus if you're a smoker (or even if not I guess), you can have the window ajar without rain coming in etc.

I like my window cracked open abit when driving. Hot, cold, rain and snow. And it doesn't matter because it shelds it enough to not let the water at my face. And also noise.

I think they suit some cars too. My previous STI Blob had lovely little discreet wind deflectors on, didn't mind them. If you don't like em, don't fit em.

Good way of;

Reducing wind noise when window is open
Letting window stay open in rain to demist (if no air con!)
Stopping rain water dripping all over your door card when window is down

Downside is they look shit.

I think they look good, and when im smoking parked up in the rain it leaves enough gap for me to drop my ash.

And they look good

A/C and manning up on not being fussed with a couple of spots of rain will save your car looking like a taxi.

I love mine. Had them ages.
I guess theyre one of them things where you've got to have them and try them to get what the hype is.
Great when it's raining and you like a bit of fresh air.

I used to have them and found them very useful! Until you've had them yourself in the right situations, you can't appreciate what they do.

i have them on my car and love them. didnt at first but have grown to like them. as said as a smoker and a person who likes fresh air there very handy. i just leave my windows open a tiny bit all the while so the car smells fresh.
