is it possible to change them on a corsa b if so how hard is it to do with the engine in

The actual rack that goes to each wheel?
Don't think you will get it off with engine in

Maybe wrong though depends on the clearance at back of engine. Need to disconnect from the column in the footwell and the ball joints on each end then 4 13mm nuts hold it in place, may just be able to persuade it out with engine in but I've never tried tbh

Is there no way of changeing the arm that the track rod end goes on instead of the full rack the nut that locks against track rod end was stuck tried getting it loose and snapped the arm

not sure again never tried, but from remembering what the one looked like i just ripped off probably not

Yes you can change the arms. They are just screwed into the steering rack.

Had to do it on Sc0ots old Corsa after he done the same, snapped the TRE.

Ok cheers I'll have to have a better look after we snapped it we just give in for the day lost all interest lol we had a quick look but couldn't see out

I think you're on about the track rods. In which case yes you can replace them individually. Shouldn't be too hard a job.

Pull the boot back and its just screwed into the rack
