As above, what security do you have on your car above a normal alarm system, before I put a switch to pump which knocked feed to pump . Now the cars are getting stolen with keys I still think this is the best method, I had a 106 which once had a keypad immobiliser but that turned into a ball ache. Is there any other modern way incase they pinch your keys?

Clamping is an inconvenience , especially in the rain. I still can't think of a better way than fuel cut off switch, but if it's a diesel it's abit trickier

What I'd do is just phone the insurance and get a nice new non crash damaged one with the money instead of wasting my time with switches.

i got a disclock, cost me about 50 quid and its pretty good deterent, sure it can be got through but they would have a fucking hard job and hopefully make like harder or alert someone in that time, failing that pull a fuse for fueling out or crank sensor etc

A couple of mates when getting custom maps on dream science units and the alike got the tuner to do a quick map with no fueling so the car won't start. Only really used on holiday etc but of I.lived in a rough area I would consider it.

It's ok with a disc lock etc but if they have your keys they will just remove it.

a disclock would be in most cases enough to put off any opportunist thiefs, i should think if someone really wants a car they will get it regardless but a good visual deterent will stop most.

if they want it that much and got in and got the disk lock off, a missing fpr would stop them driving off though
