Seems to be that time when folk are posting pics of new cars, so i'll go too.

Had this a few weeks now. So far all ive done is fit the Omega Elite wheels, lower it more at the rear as some1 had removed the Apex springs in favour of Cavalier springs, possibly when it had VXR wheels fitted it rubbed. Also got some new plates as old 1s were passed it. On the lookout for some other springs to lower it a bit more, -30mm is fine for now. Might remove the replica spoiler too if i go lower as quite like the less is more look on the Coupe. Also painted the lower front grille on bumper, might do the rear too. Tinted rears are also on the list.

Many thanks for looking.

Wouldnt be my colour choice but it looks nice. The wheels suit it and i would leave it as it is, lowering it more and spraying things black could make it from a nice looking car to something crap, imo of course.

So much better than when you got it. I agree if you go really low then the smooth look would be best

Cheers.

Colour is hit or miss tbh, it does look good in bright sunlight, or at night under bright lighting.

It had anthracite Coupe Turbo wheels on it when i got it, and as good as they look on the Coupe's, i just wanted something different. The shape of the car seems to suit a mono-block style wheel.

Did go and try on a set of 18" Penta's, but they looked mahoooosive, 17s are the perfect size imo.

Can see what you mean, dosn't have much depth to it. GSi bumpers look awesome on Coupe's, but i don't like them on Coupe's this colour. And the irmscher splitter looks good, but only with the rear bumper spats, and i don't like them either. lol. Can't win.

Surprised no1 has picked up on the mis-matched looking colour of the bumper.lol.

Its original paint.

Most Mk4's are like that. Star Silver is also bad for it.

Some say its because the bumpers are sprayed in a different factory to the cars, others say its to do with the primer on plastic vs metal giving a different result. Weird though how the rear bumpers look fine. Can also see it in the gutter rails, looks different colour.

Davieslim, got it from up this way, think its been up here for a while though. Is the OPC grill the 1 with the Opel badge?? Not keen on the Irmy airdam's, they look a bit too "bodykit" imo.

Joe, the tinted rears aren't turbo specific i don't think, the very early cars had the non tinted lights.

Hmm could be interested Mark, what sort of price we talking?? Would need to include postage if possible.

Ah right, would need to change the other badges too for it to blend in.

Will need to give the lights a miss for now, gonna need a bootlid 1st. The GF was reversing out car park, and so was some1 else behind her, both smacked into each other and its left a dent on the boot above the bumper.

Gives me an excuse now to get a spoiler-less bootlid.
