They have decent amounts of power and rev their nuts off, but lack torque so unless the car is very light it might struggle.

in a car like that zx9 will be real slow, but sounds like it was built to drift..init

Be lacking torque so will.need to be very light to make the most of it and the top speed I would imagine wouldn't be very much even though it's geared for 170mph the power couldn't get anywhere near that with the weight

wouldnt he be better off using a bigger bike engine like a 1200 ?? more power/torque etc ?

yes or adding a turbo. you could have stuck an R1 in there with a td04 on, would have been 200hp+ even on standard internals wouldnt even be that expensive, could run it on standard ECU blowing through carbs
