Hi guys, my brothers corsa c sxi has just developed a horrible engine rattle, it happened whilst he was driving te eml came on and was flashing at him, then the car lost all power and the noise it makes sounds like there may be something inside the cylinder. Took spark plugs out and one of them had no electrode (looked like it had been smashed off) put new one back in and tried the car again, took it back out and there was marks on it as if something had been smashed against it. Any one got any suggestions before I take the head off? Can't see anything obvious through the spark hole, and it does start up but just sounds like its going to blow lol any help be appreciated
