Refurbing some alloys, done some ages ago and come up really good however this time not so good, was a while since the others and can't remember any problems similiar.
basically used an attachment on a drill which as took too much out in places, think it may have a thicker layer of paint etc than usual. Thinly primered and they are a mess where you can see different layers alothough sanded quite a lot.
Will filler primer sort it out or am I best going proper filler on it? Other option is stripping the lot back to alloy but they are quite fiddly so would like to avoid!

Go get them acid dipped should only be £10 per wheel then you can start with a good base.

Agree. To get a good finish your going to need all of that off. No brainer if your getting it dipped for a tenner a wheel.

I stripped it down to the metal in places and it looks a lot better, i've basically just rushed it and caused more hassle using the drill attachment on parts!
