Couple of pictures from my weekend away in London town.
The Archery was held at Lord's.
Was at the front of the queue so was swiftly in and seated.
Wenlock came out to do a lil dance.
Seats were brilliant, right opposite the shooting line  Couldnt have expected anything more!
The Koreans were incredible, with Im Dong-Hyun setting a new World Record of 699 (out of a possible 720).
French put a bit of effort into their footwear 
Took a walk round London on the Sunday, did a bit of sight seeing.
Hope these guys stick around post-olympics, they remind me of a Lambanana hunt from Mersyside.
Couple of iphone pics.
Saw this chap trying to get his gf to take his picture with the tower in the background, so joined in.
Asked him for a quick photo, to which he obliged...
...and then he simply wrapped his medal up and stuffed it into his pocket like it was nothing 
Asked him about his medal, it was massive in real life!, turns out he was Luca Tesconi and won silver in the mens individual 10m air pistol.
Cracking weekend. The atmosphere was amazing!
Couldnt get in the Olympic Village though  needed a ticket for an event in the Village. Although, you can pay £25 post-Olympics to walk around the site

I felt guilty because we went past the Canadian hotel and fans were queuing in the rain to see the team athletes.
I bet they were the same at the Italy hotel and would've killed to have randomly bumped into one with their medal

Awesome! That's what I love about the Olympics. An unknown Joe Bloggs who is just a regular guy, but happens to be good at shooting can become an overnight hero.
