Buying the 1 series last week has got me thinking how much I want a new car to replace the e46 convertible too. Looking around for another one now, was 99% buying one 2 years back but couldnt justify the money at the time. Seen one local but it sold 10 minutes before I got there
Would you drive a red one? Never liked red e46 with black roofs, but as they have red roofs they look OK actually.
Lots in white with red seats but the lad down the road has one, and they look a bit in your face lol
If i buy one with 18s im going to put my 19s on and sell mine with the 18s
If anyone seens ad nice examples let me know lol, no gash golds, and nothing SE

lovely motors. my next door neighbour has one and shows the z4 up  his is in that dark grey colour and as it's a metal roof, it looks like a coupe.
downsides are the lack of bootspace with the roof down. it's actually quite comical how little space there is.
i'd definitely drive a red one about. gloss black/anthracite alloys and black kidney grilles, would look nice.

Depends which red Imola on E46 is nice, brilliant red not so much.
E90 isn't Imola but do have a similar one available.

M Sport kit makes biggest difference, all look pretty shit without.

Roofs aren't great on them. Our one had the roof motors/mechanism replaced three times as it kept seizing and staying stuck halfway up.

must admit I think they look a bit awkward with the roof up
