Right, new car is on it's way, but I'm pretty undecided on wheels, so need some input.
Sorry for the hasty photoshops...
Original 16" - these will be fitted with winter tyres.
17" Electra optional extras - Love the diamond cut, but unsure if the dark inner is a bit street racer...
17" Kei Racing Ebisu
17" Force 10 - Always loved the hyper black colour. Though I did have this on the Corsa previously, I think they look good on pretty much any car.
17" Cobalt, Civic optional extras - Like these a lot. Think they look good but still OEM.
That's it for now!
Let me know what you think and if you have different ideas altogether.

The only wheels i'd put on that are the type r wheels. They suit it so well.

Is it because of the ugly rear end?
Better suggestions?

Not going above 17's mate, too big an impact on comfort and fuel economy.
The car will be running a lot of miles, so 17's are the best compromise.
I'm getting old and boring...

Agree they look good, though. Don't get why sensible and subtle wheels are such a rarity...

not liking any of them, they look too halfords. Either go for Whittie suggestion or keep it totally standard.

I need two sets of wheels though. I guess I could buy an extra set of standard 16's, but that's even less interesting...

Just run lower profile tyres so they're the same rolling diameter. You can't drive car's over there fast anyway so will still be economic

I had them on a civic, they looked tiny even though they were 16's (16 I think!)

17" Blade, Civic optional extra
17" Penta, Civic optional extra - Not exactly sure what colour these are. Look different in every picture... Could look alright, if they're not too dark.

Low profile goes without saying as changing rolling diameter is illegal...
And trust me, low profile has a huge impact on both comfort and economy. Besides, it will look retarded on 18's if it isn't lowered, which I'm not certain it'll be until warranty runs out.
The Blade's are 17 or 18. Haven't seen them in 16, but I don't really consider going for 16's anyway.

1set of photos - The last picture
2set of photos - The first photo.
Out of the above: The 2nd Option.
