right im looking at swaping my C2 VTR and £200 cash with a lad for his leon cupra im wanting to know good and bad points its got 133k on the clock its got FSH and the owner is disabled. what are they like on fule if you DONT hoof it all over

i just went to DVLA and taxed it there and then. Then they sent me 3 log books

2 for disabled and one with proper tax category

I assume you are talking about the MK 1 ?

I used to have a cupra (non R) with a stage 1 Revo map. Would see 24 mpg around town and up to 35 mpg on a granny run.

i think its mk1 not sure its on a 02 reg though and apparantly had a remap and that on it im really interested in it cos im sick of small hatches tbh

Yeh a 2002 will be a pre facelift MK1 (the ugly one) I used to return around 30-35mpg in my LCR

6 gears and drive like a MK4 Golf (platform they are based on) but a bit more planted IMHO

Great all rounder tbh, superb value for money now, just not that exiciting.

Get on seatcupra.net for more info mate. That is high mileage but as long as its been serviced properly it will be fine. How long has it been mapped and who by, check for smoky turbo at that mileage. The most common problem on the MK1 Leons is the doors leaking (its an easy fix) so make sure the rear carpets dry.
