Lampard and Defoe are the only 2.

There are a lot 'injured' for this game but some new faces in there.

I think Frank, and a few others, should gracefully bow out now, and let the new generation come through. We will still have experienced pro's, but do we need a 34 year old Lampard, and a then 36 year old at Brazil 2014?

The Italian squad is also a weak one with 8 uncapped players in it still looks stronger than our squad though on paper

Check Bendtner's record for last season, probably better than Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez despite playing for Sunderland
