As per thread title, my car has decided that I'm not allowed power steering any more as of earlier this afternoon.

The rack and pump have been changed by the garage fairly recently, apart from being one of those again is there anything else that could possibly cause this problem?

Had this with an ldv we had at work, turned out to be pump was shagd after 2 months of use. Id just take it back if its still under warrenty etc

I did think it must be pump related. It's at the garage at the moment, hopefully I should hear back from them tomorrow about it...

Update - spoke to the garage today, they reckon the pump is dead so they've ordered a new one and will replace it under warranty next week for me.
