Congratulations.

It is a bit unusual to get married on a Sunday, but I do know of people that have done it. I guess it's better than during the week.

all reception venues are booked up on Saturdays for the next 2 years so we are going for the Sunday (plus its cheaper )

Congrats though! And having been married on a wednesday, I can honestly say the day of the week makes no impact on how special the day will be.
