Outer about half an hour, inner maybe 10 minutes more by the time you top up the gearbox oil.

perhaps not 'decent' money, but the part on trade will only be about £6quid ish and take about half hour to fit it.
So still works about £28 an hour which most garages down here will charge

It's at the Garage where I used to work. I just couldn't be bothered doing it myself in the rain, so went to the garage and he fitted me a new one for £20.
As said though, it was a universal and he's got plenty of them. Might have only been £5 each so that's £15 for not much work.
