Having to return a box to a retailer in Germany. In broken english i have been told to quote the retailers fedex account number and send it back international economy.
Ive gone onto the fedex site and tried to give it a go but I dont know if i have to personally register? Obviously they need my address for collection but when do i quote this account number?

I would suggest to ring them just in case something goes wrong on the web and the payment doesn't actually go through their account.

Don't bother mate. I sent a Wilson branded volleyball via Fedex to America back in 2000. Never arrived.

Phoned them, they are picking it up tomorrow. Very straight forward over the telephone.
