Just got it, fitted it, but i aint started it yet cos i'm leaving the battery disconnected for an hour to reset the ECU.

One thing is i got 2 little brakcets with it, where do i use these? At the mo the cone moves slightly, so i want to use them, i'm just not sure where to bolt them on.

It is fooking huge, can't wait to hear it, will it sound good straight away, or will it take a while ?

Cool. Have you used any sort of brackets for holding it down? And do you have a cold air feed? I'm thinking about one for mine

Red_Sxi - I've used the 1 bracket on the underside of the cone, where it meets the hose. Bad explanation I know...

I'll get some pics up tonight.

As for the cold air feed, tis worth doing. I've still got to do mine, will hopefully get it sorted this weekend. Best bet is to remove the crappy big plastic tubing at the very fron of the engine bay, and just run a new bit of hose from the cone to the grill opening, or to the bottom of the bumper.

As I said, crappy explanations but the pics will hopefully explain better

Ok then, a few piccies...

You can seen on the left of the 2nd picture the rest of the crappy old original tubing which fed into the air box. This weekend, thats the bit I'm removing and I'll put the new cold air feed behind the grill as it's fairly open, then run it straight to the cone

Munchie - I have been using the original stuff until now - I did have a lil extension coming from the original stuff to bring it closer to the tube.

I wouldn't mind trying to come up with something to shield the heat from it a bit though... Hmmn, how about a carbon fibre surrond for the cone, with a hole to clip a cold air feed in?

Doing some engine bay colour coding then Munch?

Red_sxi, didn't you get any documentation with it? on my K&N I got a diagram and basically it went underneath it on the suspension strut (or something, can't quite remember)...

Hmm... Why does your engine look a bit like mine Trotty? I thought you had a Corsa C? I thought Corsa C engines looked totally different... at least the ones I've seen looked different.

My engine looks the same as Trotty's. Anyway i've been out in my car a bit since i fitted it and it sounds absaloutly mint, it also seems a bit more responsive, but that might just be me.
